Posted 28 Nov 2022 by Weber462 Post: Gridcoin does not affect the project at all other than asking them to implement a quorum=2 to increase Wu accuracy and eliminate “cheating”. They also require project to be up and functioning and able to produce consistent WUs. If project is whitelisted it incentivizes their crunchers to come to project. There is some information on their website under “project whitelist”. https://gridcoin.us/ There are currently 15 projects whitelisted. |

Posted 1 Oct 2022 by Weber462 Post: I crunch in small blocks, and I notice that any progress I've made is erased every time I reboot. I have checked my Boinc settings and everything looks ok and runs as expected on different programs. Is this something that is easily fixable. I want to crunch, but don't want to lose 2-3 hours of work when I reboot. |
