hello That is probably because the initial estimated run time for the tasks is only about 15 minutes, even though they actually take several hours to complete. |

I've noticed problems. Thank you for increasing the time limit and the credits. That will allow more computers to complete their tasks successfully so that you can see what the time limit really needs to be based on actual completion times. |

I got a few to complete and validate. These were on 4 core i5's. Seemed to like those better than my HT machines. |

Mine starting to complete and validate after 4 hours 7 minutes. The 40 credits are better than 8 but still the worst paying CPU project, a low paying project like TN-Grid gives 137 credits for 3 hours and 15 minutes on the same machine. Haven't seen any issues with tasks using more than 100% CPU. |

We will increase the credits per hour to the appropriate value. |

Mine starting to complete and validate after 4 hours 7 minutes. I'd say the worst was the 2nd batch of tasks from Ramanujan Machine for 8-9 credits. But yeah, pretty low. |

Mine starting to complete and validate after 4 hours 7 minutes. That was just an error by the Admin who is new to BOINC rather than a deliberate act, I would hope and expect credit levels to return to normal levels when more work is released. |

Does this app use any extensions like AVX/AVX2/AVX-512 if available? Michael Goetz: you are correct. Instructions AVX/AVX2/AVX-512 are not currently supported. |

For a computationally intensive project, 40 credits for six hours of work is a bit paltry. My 32-bit Linux computer normally earns about 20 credits per hour, so it really deserves to be granted at least 120 credits. Doesn't the Boinc server software include an automated credit system that is based on work done? Can this be used for this project? As an aside, when I attached a 64-bit computer to this project, it received a 32-bit application! My other 64-bit computer was given both 32 and 64-bit versions of the app. |

The credit issue will be corrected. I have changed the settings homogeneous app version: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/HomogeneousAppVersion You can test if now 64-bit applications will always come to 64-bit host :) |

For a computationally intensive project, 40 credits for six hours of work is a bit paltry. This happens on the iThena.Measurements project with the OONI application, I get both 32 and 64 bit apps. I didn't worry about it as the 32 bit apps were faster than the 64 bit apps. Conan |

Is there an ETA for a Windows version? |

Hey guys, I've just found out this project but I haven't received any tasks yet ? I am using Windows 11 64bit Have you already looked at 'Applications'? Platform Linux running on an Intel x86-compatible CPU Linux running on an AMD x86_64 or Intel EM64T CPU So: No, you can't receive work yet under Windows 11. You can install Linux using e.g. virtualbox and try it that way. |

Agreed. It seems that these tasks have a very wide range of run times depending on the computer, and your estimate and max run time limit are too low. Pardon my ignorance but how do you reduce the number of running Tasks? |
