The iThena HEX application supports the new platform: i686-pc-linux-gnu. You are welcome to test it. A version for the Windows x32 / x64 platform should be available soon. |

When will i686-pc-windows be available?I just grabbed 1000 of them across two Linux virtual machines running under Windows on two Ryzen 9 3900XTs. Processing 48 at once.... Linux is easier if you hide it in a VB. |

I ran them in WSL1 with boinc_ubuntu_7.16.6_x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.sh Unfortunately there are no more tasks. Can project increase workunit generation? |

I still have a day and a half queued :-) This WSL, is it easier/more efficient than using VB? I ran a VB and installed Linux in it, then installed Boinc inside there, which I control using Boinctasks as though it was another computer. The only problem is the Windows Boinc and the Linux Boinc don't know about each other, so if Linux Boinc gets tasks (I only have it on rare projects like this one and CPDN) then I end up with more tasks running than CPU cores. Not a problem really, when I get annoyed with the slow interface, I just turn the Windows one down until they're finished. |
