Post:
Currently, there are no checkpoints yet in the new version v1.03.
However, we plan to add checkpoints in one of the next versions.

Uhhh... I see the problem still exists...
Thanks for the information.
I will be making further corrections to the TESTS_1B series

On an Intel Xeon E3 1220 @ 3.10GHz processor the computation time should be ~177 minutes.

This time Xeon E3 1220 was actually on 1 core and at a time when the other 3 cores were in idle.
In fact if I had run the x4 application (all core) it could have been quite a bit slower.

I've noticed problems.
I increased 10x the possible execution time.
I set it to 40 credits per WU at this moment.
There is a new specification for tasks in the new series "TESTS_1A_T..."

All are running past the 4min 20sec mark now. Now to see if they finish and validate.

So we wait.
If you can you report the information :)

If possible, please let me know how long the iThena GRAPH tasks currently count with you?
How much time do you have in current tasks already (in progress on client)?

Post:
The first test version of the iThena GRAPH application is available on the project server.

This application is currently available only for x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.

It is a CPU intensive application (one thread is used).

On an Intel Xeon E3 1220 @ 3.10GHz processor the computation time should be ~177 minutes.

Today (October 31, 2021) we officially launched the iThena.Computational project website.

The Halloween date here is completely coincidental :)

The master URL of the project is:
https://comp.ithena.net/usr/

The project currently has no app added yet.
CPU-Intensive applications will be added initially.

The project will be used as a computational platform for analysis based on data extracted from the iThena.Measurements project applications/sensors.

Current URL for iThena.Measurements:
https://root.ithena.net/usr/

This is not just a joke :)
The Haloowen date is a total coincidence.
I have been planning to add compute (CPU) tasks for a very long time.
We plan to add the first test graph application soon (depending on how fast it passes initial testing).

iThena.Computational will be responsible for the computational part.

In the old iThena project (still current), which we have now renamed to iThena.Measurements, there were only NCI applications performing network measurements.

In iThena.Computational the computational part (CPU and/or GPU?) will be already implemented.
That is, based on results of measurements from iThena.Measurements it will be possible to perform typical computational tasks in iThena.Computational (e.g. graphical problems based on topology models of Internet networks).

Predicting Dr Who Fan attack and his questions I will answer: iThena.Computational has a separate isolated resource of disk space which does not interfere with iThena.Measurements :)

That is, (small joke), it may run out of space for iThena.Measurements but not must run out of space for iThena.Computational.

These two projects have separate RAID groups based on different disks. These drives are unfortunately quite small SAS 300GB.
