I ask because I only have GPU cruching on one of my machines. If CPU only, I can add it to the other one, the GPU in that one, I'm guessing, is damaged, there are arrays of spots in various points on the display when I plug the screen to that one. The problem with the machine might not be the GPU itself of course, the spots move about if I drag a window, so it looks video memoryish. I just don't know, so err on the side of caution.
